Don't want to change out PSU, machine came with the 6200 and I want to upgrade the graphics card.

Running XP what do you suggest?

psu is easy to change, do not be put off by the amount of wires and connectors as most are just spares. If you want a decent card it is best to install a top quality psu that will give ample power and stability.

If you want to avoid changing the psu then you will probably be ok with an ATI x800GT click here

These do not need any extra power connections other than the pci-e slot and are not known to be excessively power hungry.

A few questions:

* Is your present graphics card PCI-E or AGP-based?
* What do you use (or going to use) your PC for?
* What is your budget for a new card?
* What is your system make & spec? The more details the better.
* Will changing the graphics card (or even opening the case) invalidate the warranty?

No but if I need to claim under warranty I must return computer to original setup before sending it back for repair. Hence why I don't want to get PSU changed, I can swap a graphics card easily enough.

OK, that's a well-specified PC, so you could go for the best card you can afford. You could still use the original PSU, but will obviously need to upgrade if you have problems. As citadel says, having to change the PSU shouldn't put you off getting the best card you can afford.
