2nd wireless PC crashes

I have 2 PC's (winXP) sharing a internet connection, the one that is downstairs next to the router is fine , but the one in the bedroom has started crashing, mostly when my hubby playes a game of poker (and often when he is chip leader lol). He has been able to come downstairs and finish the game, but why should this happen, the PC in quesion is abt 1 year old and has 250 hard drive, both PC's have Blueyonder PC Guard and C/Cleaner which I run regularly. It often shows "This page cannot be displayed" when surfing the net.
Any Ideas?

Make sure your settings within Internetoptions/Connection/LanSettings are set to Auto Detect.

It could be interference from other wireless devices - mobile or cordless phones, microwave ovens, someone else's (neighbour's) wireless network etc.

Giving the Wireless Network Connection a fixed IP address in the same subnet (IP address range) as the router might help.
