266mhz or 333 mhz fsb?

hello,i have seen a mobo bundle,it is an asrock k7s8x,which can run at 266 or 333 fsb,a stick of 256 memory 333 mhz pc2700,but it comes with a 2400+ this runs at 266 mhz.what i want to know is would i be better of trying to get a 2600+ or a 2500+ barton,as these run at 333 mhz or am i being a bit anal,?i dont really want to get a bigger cpu as i am on a tight budget,but am i right in thinking that unless they all run at 333 then it will run at 266.

my personal opinion is steer clear.

Have a look at the bundled kits from click here these are decent MSI boards. Ref the 333MHZ FSB against 266 I wouldn't expect to see a big difference between the two.

I would start of with a XP2400 (2GHz 266FSB) then if you want upgrade in a year when the 333FSB CPU's drop.
