24 pin psu to older motherboard

Hi all

Had to replace my graphics card, and while on ebuyer I got carried awy and bought a new PSU. My current psu is suspect and has a noisy fan etc.. The new PSU has 24 pins whereas my Jetway v266 m/b only 20. I notice that the connector has a slot between the last 4 pins, will it fit ok to my m/b without mishap?

I bought this click here

thanks in advance

the 4 pin piece is usually clipped to the 20 pin and you pull them apart and tuck it to one side and put the 20pin into the motherboard.

Thanks Matt

OK power off now, screwdriver out...

Mine just slotted over the top of the socket no need to pull apart...
