20G Hard drive to 60G H D

I have a 60G HD and reinstall every now and again, so I set up a 20G as a master with all my updates etc, and formatted the 60g. When I ghost disk to disk I end up with a 25G hard drive instead of 60G. I have partition magic 7 which tells me I have a 58x Hard drive but when I check my C drive it reads 25x. How do I ghost the 20G to the 60G and use this as normal. Step by step please. Thanks, Woosie.

Hi, The first thing I have to ask is, Why format now and again? A format should only be the last line of defence. cheers, Bill

I wouldn't be the best at going in around the background files and resolving conflicts, so it is easier to dump the lot and start again. I try a lot of trial software and progs. and some can wreak havoc. Any way, partition magic found a hidden partitiom and repaired it, why it didn't find it the first time I don't know. Thanks again, Wossie.
