Hi, I am thinking of getting a Monitor adaptor so I can have two PCs on a single monitor, I have been told that the secret for a clear picture is good quality cables but how expensive do they have to be is £5 enough? Thanks.

It is only a switch after you have connected the cables

I use a D-link 4 port KVM switch which takes care of monitor, keyboard and mouse for four machines. Cost just under £100 and worth every penny.

My system runs two computers, one monitor, one keyboard, one mouse. D-Link KVM switch DKVM-2K from Ebuyer does the job very well. No extras required, as all cables were supplied. The DKVM-2K might now be discontinued with a later version, so worth checking this out. Perfect bit of kit, and not very expensive.
