2 external drives conflict

Hi All,
I have a pc with a full HD. External HD 250GB (Iomega) now also full. Bought 1TB external drive (Maxtor).

I want to move data directly from Iomega to Maxtor but when I plug in both dries via usb I can only see one. There is a yellow triangle in device manager, but it also says there are 5 or 6 usb ports free (which is true).

I can use either drive alone or either drive and other usb devices (printer, flash drive etc) but not the 2 external drives.

Is there an easy way to move the information without using the PC internal drive as it is full?

You probably need to change the drive letters...go to start-run and type (or copy n'paste diskmgmt.msc You should be able to see the drives, right click and choose 'change drive letter or paths. Select the drive that you cannot see, right click, selsct 'change' and choose any letter that is not in use (towards the end of the alphabet is a good way).
