Can anyone advise a suitable film scanner for 2 1/4" sq or the old "127" negatives?
Thanks in advance for any advice received

Not aware of one but you may get advice here even though the site name would indicate otherwise:

I have an Epson Perfection 3170 Photo flatbed scanner which also scans 35mm/120/127/620 and almost 5x4 negs and transparencies.

It has been superceded now but there are other Epson scanners which do the same thing. Also they are very much cheaper than a dedicated film scanner.

I think the Epson Perfection 3490 does the same job and is still available.

If you can't find one your local camera shop will probably have facilities to copy them on to CD/DVD for you. Alternatively, if you want you can send me some and I will scan them and put them onto CD/DVD for you? Email me first.

I have the epson rx500and though old does a first class job of said negatives .Dont be swayed into buying a dedicated scanner on the basis its better. Unless of course you dont want to buy an allin one
