17" Monitor focus problem

Hi, I am after some advice I have a Packard Bell 17" monitor which on the top far right hand side of the screen the lettering focusses in and out. Not sure it is a monitor problem or a graphics card problem. Can anyone advise. Thanks.

Probably a monitor problem - see if you have a degauss option on the screen controls - it may clear it out.

If you can get hold of another graphics card, try that or alternatively if you've got a mate with a computer, take it round to his and plug it in and see what you get. If it still does it I'd be inclined to think it's the monitor.

Do you have any strong magnetic items next to your monitor. Is your PC stood next to it. If so it could be the magnets in the PSU interferring with the screen. (if your pc is on the right of your monitor, this is where you'd expect it to interfere.)

Try degaussing the screen if you have the option. Should be a button or menu option with an image of a magnet on it.
