C:\windows\system 32\config.nt

The system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications.close or ignore.

I am running win xp home sp1.

they run fine on my wife's computer.
She has sp2. Any thoughts? Thanx.

click here and click on XP_Fix.EXE

or

MS-DOS or 16-bit Windows-based program Error message when you install or start Xp,
Do the following. Rename the existing file autoexec.nt to autoexec.old (make sure you have not got your system files hidden). Inside the windows folder there should be one called "repair". Within this folder there should be a copy of autoexec.nt. Make a copy of the file and place in the orignal location
