I have only 14 pins on my monitor to graphic card plug even though it says 15 pins in monitor handbook. Its the same on both ends, so I haven't lost them. Thanks for answers on this one.
I pretty sure thats normal
14 Pins is correct, you haven't lost one! Pin no 9 is the one that is left out ;o)
I have just checked out 3 monitors. Two of the plugs on the monitor have actually got 13 pins and only 1 monitor (a 17" CRT) has got 14 pins. All of these monitors are working perfectly.Don't worry about it.
This in most cases prevents a serious wrong connection. Less oportunities for Murphy's Law

I went to have a look at cables, and they do have 14 pins, why call it 15.Thanks a lot.
I went and had a look at cables. Why call it a 15 pin plug?
