Hi All, I changed my graphics card from 64mb to 128mb inno3d and it worked fine. I then upgraded my onboard sound with a 5.1 sound card (Hercules) and everything worked. When I next booted up, the graphics card failed as the monitor registered no pc signal. It booted past the windows xp booting process and just before the welcome screen came on, it stopped. I have tried reseating the card several times but no result. Changed it back to the 64mb and it worked. I then installed the 128 in my other pc and it worked fine. What's up? PC P4 2ghz,80gig,768ddr,550w psu. Can anyone give me some clues? Please?

Make sure that u have unintsalled the graphics card driver for the previous 64Mb card. Do this in Device Manager. Then SHUTDOWN no restart, Put the new 128Mb card in and it should be found by your pc. The hardware wizard will' guide you through the rest of the setup process'. Let me kow how it works out please.

Thanks CPU Magnet,
Both cards are seen in device manager. The thing is the 128 mb was working before I installed the 5.1 sound card. I have tried moving the s. card to another pci slot, no result. I then took it out completely and still no result. It works perfectly in my other pc with both cards also identified in device manager.Any more ideas?
