My motherboard jumper is set to 133Mhz, my cpu is 133Mhz & my RAM is pc133, then why would my DRAM frequency in the BIOS be set at 100Mhz ? It is the default setting according to my mobo book & I have never had cause to check it before now !

Maybe thats the 'Default' Bios setting.

You should be able to set it to 133 in the bios, F1 should show you the optional settings

The default setting is simply the one the BIOS is set to when it's first set up, or reset.

It's fine to change it to suit your RAM, and you should get a little extra performance (but not much!).

Whoever built the system should have been more careful in adjusting the BIOS setup.
