I have a Microsoft 5000 wirless keyboard and mouse on the house computer.

Is there a way I can use it on my works laptop when I bring it home.

If the wireless Mouse & Keyboard use a plug-in USB 'transceiver' then it should work if you simply plug it into the Laptop instead. Any additional features supported by the mouse or keyboard will probably require the installation of its software.

I have 2 Computers, one goes online, the other is used for work off line. I have 1 Monitor, 1 Keyboard and 1 Mouse. I just unplug the three items from one computer and plug them in the other, as and when needed.

Graphicool1, if you use a KVM switch you can alternate between the two by merely pressing a button (no cable-changing required). A range of 2-port KVMs click here if considering one. G
