I am currently using a BT Voyager USB ADSL modem for my BB service at 576/256. If I upgrade to the 1mb service, will I need:-
a)a new modem
b) new drivers
c) no changes what so ever

I'm getting mine updated from 512 to 1mb on monday.

To quote the BT saleslady, nothing needs to be changed. I'll just be off line for half an hour while they change it over. An email will be sent when it's all been done. Cant wait :-)

Same here :)

Your modem should be able to cope with up to 8 meg at least (ADSL). SDSL (if/when available) will need a different modem.

Well that's it then- no changes necessary. I am due to upgrade on the 14th!

When I upgraded at home the line went down for half an hour or so and came back @ 1.1Mbps. It was a week before I received the email telling me about the upgrade.
