My son has recorded one dvd in his camcorder in DVD-VR format which has a VOR file extension. All of my video editing software doesn't recognise VOR. It won't play as a DVD on our DVD player. How can I convert to VOB?

Thanks but cannot find exactly what I want. Will delve deeper in that site tomorrow.

Thanks again - I may have found a converter vro to vob called DVD Integrator. It certainly converts the video but I had problems with audio. This may be because I used a demo version.I had found your link before and tried TMPGenc but I couldn't get it to accept the VRO files. There certainly doesn't appear to be a cheap solution.
may be worh ringing the manufacturer and asking them if its panasonic they are very helpful or so ive found
I've found a converter. AVS Media Tools and specifically AVS Video Converter. Cost £19.53. The demo did the job with added watermark.
