Small TV + Freeview

  Martin12 11:36 23 Feb 2007

I am looking round for a small (17" ish)TFT flat screen TV for the kitchen with a Freeview tuner already in it.
Considering we are only 3-5 years away from a digital only supply, where are they.
Anyone know any websites???

I agree with your observation. The shops are still selling a lot of TV's that will need a set top box to continue working in a while and the smaller screen sizes seem to be the worst culprits.

Perhaps price is more of an issue with small screen sizes and the manufacturers don't want to add a second tuner for fear of losing sales?

Flat screens at that size are really not worth having. Get a decent CRT and if necessary a separate Freeview box - it will be a lot cheaper and the picture quality will be a lot better.

Humax, for one, offers 17in and 20in LCD models with Freeview, such as the LGB-17DTT and LU20-TD2; about £350 and £370 respectively.
