Saving slide show as MPEG to Harddrive.

  jack 12:00 09 Nov 2007

I have created a slide show.
I now wish to save it as MPEG, which the program allows.
However I want to save the resultant mpeg show to thew Harddrive- ultimately to load on to a flash card to play in a MPEG compatible photo frame.

The slide show program however will only direct me to the Disk burner.
How can I get round that[apart from the obvious of burning a disk and loading it back in to the computer]

Name of program being used would help

ICF The program is DVDPixPlay if that is of any help
But as stated the program will only direct me to the 'Burner' and no other drive
This program builds a 'movie' making many 1000 of image files for a 50/60 slide show of 20 mins or so ans the will then deliver as an MPEG but I do not want to burn it to disc

In Step 4 of 4, Click [O File Name] to save to Hard Drive.

See Tutorial for Picture, 6 Burn your Disk.

Thank you for that.
I simply did not expect the alternative destination to come that way.
Will it work I wonder?
Will come back to here and let you all know

Well that worked in making the show and saved it as a 42Mb movie clip.
However WMP and Irfan will only play the MP3 element accompanied with a blank screen -
So I guess I may be a Code short of as movie as they say
The hunt is on.

I have found VIDEOZilla that does a convert to MPEG4 but the rez is very poor- any better ones out there - preferable FREE of course.

Try playing the Slideshow Movie in Windows Media Player.

Plays fine in media player and a few others now Videozilla has had it.
But the object of this exercise is to put it onto a media card to play through a photoframe.
Its all good fun to try these things - better than the 'soaps'
