hi, i have a xp/vista dual-boot system, with a dvi to hdmi cable connected to my plasma 42" 1080p tv, but the picture will not fit the screen correctly, to the left and up slightly. my graphics card is an ATI radeon x1650se (i know ;))
if i lower the hz to 50 or below, the picture is more central but not comletely conforming to the case
any help would be greatly apreciated

thanks
ash

Ok first off read both your manuals (tv & graphics card) for your frequency settings and make sure you can find a matching pair.
just because you have good graphics card and a nice size plasma dont expect all the work/settings to be done for you.
GOOD LUCK

thanks for the reply, i got hold of a 8800gts graphics card and that seems to have solved the problems in the main, turns out that the old graphics card was stuggling with that resolution. the hz won't go above 60 without the screen going off, but this isn't to much of a deal, i should be able to match at 100 according to both manuals but 60 isn't bad.

thanks
ash
