From my main lounge TV, i have a sky output to my bedroom. From my bedroom i have tried to connect the kids TV with Sky but this has reduced the sky reception to both tv's.The lounge reception is fine. What is the best way to get good sky reception when trying to split the signal to 2 TV's from the digibox extention output?

A powered distribution amplifier. This boosts the sinal before it is split - so that you should get enough signal down each cable.

However, my experience is that a single splitter shouldn't redice the signal by so much as to make it unuseable, so I would suggest you look at the quality of the cable connections carefully.

Distribution amplifier, to be fitted next to the output of the digibox - example click here
