Kindle Fire Internet Limit

My daughter is abroad with a Kindle Fire. She only uses the device when browsing using available Wi-Fi she does not have a 3g capability.

However she is getting blocked from accessing the internet when she reaches 50Mb of daily use. I have read that this limit only applies to 3g.

Does anyone have any idea why this is occurring on Wifi only device?

Thanks

Who is providing the wireless connection? It may be that whoever provides the bandwidth is capping data downloads for individual users. It isn't uncommon in situations where other users are in contention.

Nothing to do with the kindle but the service provider,

Absolutely right - my daughter mistook the message to mean it was the Kindle imposing the limit when it was the airport wifi.
