Ipod nano 3nd gen 8GB vs Sony NWZ-A818

Hi! I am thinking of buying a mp3 player with 8gb of memory. After some searching I found two models I like: the iPod nano 3rd generation (8gb model) and the Sony NWZ-A818. I just want to make the right choice, price is not a problem. Which one is really better & why, thanks

well i have the sony. and frankly, its superb, my dog could work it. no software required. i put the usb connector into the pc at uni, and it charges from there, it basically works as a usb memory stick, so all you do is copy and paste, music blah blah blah. i can keep dissertaion work, photos etc on it.

also the screen is fantastic, watch films on it all the time. if you need a convertor to put films on it there is a thread that i started recently that is of great help

so really-no software required, its a bit unique, looks beautiful and has a 30hour battery which stomps on ipods i believe. earphones are great too, stick right in your ear. music quality is fantastic too, think sony have been specialising in doing audi/video for years compared to apple.

its a shame this player isn't marketed like the ipod as it would surely outsell it.
