How should I handle my cartridge?

I want to get some basic printer handling tips may any one explain me how should I handle my printer cartridges?

Keep them upright if possible and only take off the seal when replacing a spent cartridge.

They are, however, pretty robust.

Thanks Stuartli...
I really appreciate your suggestion. I need more suggestions towards the thread.

Then you need to offer more detail as to exactly what type of information you require..:-)

The number one refilling problem is waiting too long to refill my cartridge. When I don't fill up my cartridge right away, the ink will dry and clog the micro holes at the outlet of the printer head.

There's a simple solution to that...:-)

I am using hot water and alcohol for clean printer head and it works nicely.

Just use your printer regularly because of this your cartridge will use in regular time and for this it will not dry.
