How can I make a 4 gig single vob file to run in any dvd player?

There is no ifo file or anything usually associated, so as a single vob file it will not run when burnt to disc inside the usual video_ts folder format. the vob file is a large four gig and contains nothing but one long video, eg no menu. any idea how i can get it to work in a normal player? The vob file will play absolutely fine in windows media player from the hard drive. I know video files are usually around one gig for each vob on a dvd which may contain many vob files, but even if i need to split the four gig file i have-i do not know how i could auto create ifo and other related files possibly needed to get the file to run in a normal player? Thanks for any help
