Help - I can't find software for my MP3 player.:(

  Bansaw 09:28 13 Sep 2006

I bought a NAPA 1GB MP3 player from Dixons just over a year ago, and now its asking to be reformatted.:s

I contacted Dixons and their computer section and foound out that SigmaTel make the software (supposedly) for my MP3 player.

No software came with the MP3 player, and I've contacted SigmaTel but no response.

Does anyone have a link where I can get this reformatting software from?

Check out the 53rd (I think) posting where a napa 256mb is the subject.

I saw that post a while ago. There is no link to the software. I found Sigmatel and contacted them but they are reluctant to deal directly, they say contact retailer.
The retailer can't help either.:s
I wonder if any other MP3 player formatting tool will work?

Download the PackardBell AudioKey software, and it should do the trick on your player

Just out of interest, does your PC detect the MP3 player? If so, you could also right click on the player and hit 'format'

You should also be able to get the original SigmaTel software from:click here
