Hanspree xvs 19" LCD TV

I have just purchased a Hanspree XVS TV. The sound on the tv is not the best so I need to link it to my hifi.
Is there anyone that knows how to do this?
I have tried different leads put nothing seems to work.

Audio output, left and right, will be present at the scart socket.

You can purchase a scart to phono plug lead and connect to the amplifier aux input via this lead.

You can also get audio from the headphone socket, which may have the advantage of muting the TV speakers when the lead is plugged in.

You will probably need two 3.5mm to 3.5mm jack plug leads (length as required) for the left and right channels (Audio Out on the TV).

Your TV's manual, however, should suggest the method required and/or the sockets available.

I've tried the headphone socket and the jack plugs put nothing happens!!
I'll give the scart to phono a try.
Anymore ideas are welcome.
Many thanks

Have you switched the hi-fi to Auxiliary input or whichever socket is used?

It eppears that somewhere you are not selecting the correct input/output modes to do as you wish, whether it involves the TV and/or the hi-fi.
