I have succesfully installed the Freecom.I am getting good pictures and sound. But I'm uncertain as to how to record and playback.
Help?Do i need to use Window Player and how?

No you use the program thats plays the tv to playback recordings.
To record you click the round red icon when the program opens up beside the file icon. Then click it when you want to stop recording.

I advise you to look on the manual provided with the install cd for further clarification.

Sorry I cannot be of more help

By opening the EPG you can double click on a programme name and it will be set to record.

make sure you use the dvb programme for playback, as trying to open recorded files in windows media player results in jerky jerkiness

If you use Win DVD or Power DVD it will instal an mpeg2 codec that will allow media player to run without jerkiness. Or just use these programs instead.
