Fibre broadband router modem Problem

  Mijofo 07:09 24 Feb 2016

I've just switched to FTTC broadband with Fleur Telecom who provided a router, which is now connected to a new modem provided by Openreach when they switched me over. The new router isn't good, and the modem is big and requires another electrical socket. I want to buy a combined router/modem and have purchased a TP link archer D5, on the advice of a retailer. It doesn't want to connect to the Internet. The only connection I have is a ADSL cable, which previously went into the openreach modem. Although the product description says it is fibre compatible, I'm not convinced. Does this router/modem work with fibre?

I had a very similar setup and purchased this click here It is a VDSL modem not an ADSL / ADSL2+ modem. I think you need to exchange the Archer D5

Why not contact Fleur. Either by email or telephone.

Don't tell them what you've done, ask them what you should do?
