Error Src\Timecode.cpp-995

I recently bought a Panasonic camcorder NV-GS500. Using Premiere Elements to capture files from my Sony DVD Handycam was always a long winded process so I thought using the Panasonic and DV tape would be a doddle. When I tried the capture (using USB) I got an error message quoting SRC\Timecode.cpp-995. The DV clips could not be captured and the attempt resulted in them being corrupted. I was using PE4. Anyone got any info on this please? I had no problem with either Ulead Video Studio 11 or Vegas Movie Studio but I've always liked PE so I would like a solution.

I've managed to find a solution. Video clips have to be captured vis the Firewire output and still pictures have to be captured via the USB output. Then everything works. What a pity the USB output will not do both, as advertised in the brochure.
