DVD to Hi Fi or Amplifier

I am fortunate in having a hi fi with an auxilary input. This means that I can take an audio output from my DVD. This is handy not only for giving greater sound quality while watching DVDs, but also enables me to listen to mp3 discs.

I recommended a mate to do the same, but unfortunately he does not have an auxilary input on his hi fi. Can anyone recommend an economically priced amplifier which will do the job?

If your friend is looking to replace his amplifier in a set-up of Hi-Fi separates, then size and appearance would be a factor. Since there is no auxiliary input, this is probably not the case.

In any case, I suggest that you look at a site such as Richer Sounds, who have a range of products at competitive prices, starting at £50.
