DVD converters for iPod -which is recommended

A Google search for such software has turned up a page full
So far I have downloaded Videora and Z-soft
and am playing

They are both trials and convert a few minutes and need payment run full program

There are others too- so his promises to be a long process and the possibility I shall plump for the wrong one.

So what have you folk tried and purchased ?
Which is the best rated?

Thanks and noted- I have one already I think[I keep a massive folder on the external full or programs of
all sorts of application - but Ipod seems to need something else'

Handbrake installed and running now.
The way its going on a test Free DVD from a Sunday paper - it'll take all night-I'll leave it running and look see in the morning I think.

Did a good job of turning a DVD into MPEG4
but getting it into the iTouch is another story- the normal transfer does not happen.
Speaking to an iphone user - he reported the same problem.
I wonder if this is the protection devices at work.
Any thoughts

I regularly use a paid for programme -CuCusoft iPOd Video converter. Works very well with two grand daughters - an iPod Touch and a Classic. Shrinks a typical DVD (eg Sumdog Millionaires) to about 1gig
