Acronis Disk Cloning

Hi all. We have all been told at some time or other to Back Up the entire hard drive on a regular basis. This I have done with Acronis True Image on a monthly, or near enough time scale. The OS,and all is on my "C" drive and I clone the entire disk to my "F" drive which is 140 GB the same as "C". can I boot from "F" and alternate the cloning and if so how. The reason is I can see that Acronis Backup is on "F" but how do I see if it is not corrupted. On the day I came to use it would be disastrous

One way is to run the validate back up facility in Acronis which will check the back up for you.
