Just received an email from these saying I have won a packet.
Sounds like the usual phishing scam.

Xanga.com, however, seems to be a genuine site that obviouly genarates megabucks and Google brings up a lot of stuff about it including fact that it has been fined a million dollars in US for violating child privacy.

So, what is the score here?

Definite scam, the xanga name has been hijacked just as Microsoft's was for a similar lottery.

Does the claims agent use a hotmail or yahoo address ?
