WOT A COME ON

OK I didn't get caught- it was so blatant I wonder if many did.
A certain home shopping catalogue sent a spam promoting a support product for only 1.99[In the book nearly £12]
Oh yes My daughter and I both have dodgy knees order a couple.
But when I started the clicking process it becaume obvious that the product price had been inflated by excessive postage/insurance plus VAT - nearly a tenner
More over the Ad was set up to supply only the one item - no opportunity to order multiples [in the same consignment-postage etc.]
Naturally we did not complete the purchase
I wonder how many do?

You have to ask what the price would have been at £12 plus postage/insurance. Did they add the same to the £12? They will not deliver for free for a £1.99 item. There may well still have been a saving.
Agree about the multiples though.
