When installing a Logitech webcam, it asks you to insert Windows disc. I only have a recovery CD. Is it safe to use this?

We are so fed up with our old Tiny pc that we are going to buy a new HP660. When we ask salesmen about whether package will include Windows XP cd, we are told will only have recovery CD.

Same problem can we use recovery CD or do we we need a proper windows CD? How do we get one?

You can try the recovery disk - just don't let it run itself and don't leave it in when you boot. By itself it will not do any harm.

Why go for the HP? They can be a little overpriced for what you get.

Sometimes the data will be copied onto the hdd as well as being on the recovery disk. See if there is a folder called "win98" full of CAB files on the hdd somewhere.
