I am thinking of buying a programme which would normally be very expensive. However, I have found a place where I can buy an OEM version. Can anybody tell me what differences there would be with this rather than a boxed version.
as far as the software itself is concerned.
Check to see what product support is available, and make sure that you get the product from a recommended and reliable source.
OEM is meant for system builders, it's the same as normal software, but comes with no software support or documentation, apart from the licence. It's cheaper & does the same as the one costing £££ more.
You may find yourself going to the mfr website for info but if I were you I would do this first before you buy and see what information is available that you can download
Be careful to ensure that the software is genuine from a reliable source and not one of those many pirate products that sell so cheaply.
