P4 2.6 ghz, 512mb ram, cd re-writer/dvd combo, 15" tft screen, 40gb hdd, nvidia 440 go with 64mb ddr-ram, win xp, word 2002, works 7.0, encarta standard 2003, autoroute 2002, nero 5.5. all this in a laptop for £999 inc. vat. buy now pay march 2004.
is this a good deal.?

it is advertised in toys'r'us and i am so so tempted to buy one but i dont want to buy a white elephant because i also have to convince the wife. any one ask 'man or mouse' i am partial to mature cheddar.

A friend has just bought a desktop from Toys R Us and is very pleased with it and I'm more than impressed with the specification he got for the money, going back in my memory I seem to remember several good comments about Toy R Us computers on this forum in the past.
