Three cheers to TomTom..

Last Thursday, my TomTom refused to switch on, no matter what i did. after ringing there service centre, they decided to take it back for repair.
no need to pack it as they sent me a tailor made box to fit, and told me to expect repair to take 5-10 working days.
I posted it to them on saturday, and was gobsmacked to recieve it repaired today (wednesday).
well done and thanks to TomTom.

I know one rather large establishment who purchased approximately 350/400 Tom Tom sat navs late last year. A number of those units proved faulty, some mainly to human abuse.

It took a little bit longer to get the returned units repaired or replaced :O)

However, from reading posts on the YourNav forum it appears that such excellent service is not typical.

i had problems with my 910 & this was repaired in 5 days with box supplied so thanks tt
