Well done Swalec

I groaned when I got a call from people that were due to fit a new meter saying that they were too busy and would like to do it the following day. I had changed my day off to be in, so wasn't best pleased.

I called Swalec and spoke to a manager who managed to get hold of them. They arrived 2 hours late, but at least they arrived. To his credit the manager called me at 6pm to ask me whether they had come and was everything satisfactory. He then volunteered that as the meter fitters were late he would send a cheque for £20 by way of compensation.

I was amazed when 2 days later a letter with the £20 cheque arrived. How's that for speed? I was genuinely impressed.

That manager should be named and praised for his excellent customer service, as this level of service is getting rare.
