Well done Dell technical support

Hope its ok to post this on here - its not a question, or a complaint - just a comment to say that I got some really good help from them today by phone (problem with disappearing trackpad posted in Helproom at click here). Turns out it was my problem not the laptop's but the guy on the end of the phone seemed to really know his stuff, understood my attempts to describe problem, was very patient and wasn't in the slightest bit patronising. I had tried to avoid calling them, as I have usually only heard bad things about technical support (and the IT Support line at my employer is terrible) - but they were great. Respect to Dell!

Unless we hear good news as well we aren't going to get any sense of balance. It's probably true to say that most of us keep quiet when we're happy and shout loud and long when we're not, so it's always good to hear about experiences like yours.
