Afternoon guys, im looking for a new mobo that supports both AGP and PCI-E with an Intel 775 socket for Core 2 Duo.

I have tried the ASRock 775DUAL-VSTA board and had two that were DOA, cant be bothered with trying for 3rd time lucky, QC is obviously very poor.

Any other suggestions?

Not often do you get both AGP & PCI-E together.
Have you tried googling it?

Seemed to work OK here:

It would appear that this is the only board of its type available.

Thats a link to the board that was DOA both times i have tried it (from different suppliers) and yes they were tested when they were returned before you think its me!!

If thats the only board available i may have to go for a more full on upgrade than i was anticipating!!

I know it was a link to the board that was DOA - I was pointing out that it worked OK for test and review purposes...:-)

I know....thats why i bought it!! ;o) It was perfect for me, allowed me to keep my newish GFX card whilst upgrading to a dual core with option upgrade to PCI-E later.
