Just in case anyone has missed this. PC World are selling 50 spindle Verbatim DVD+R disks for £13.99 buy one get one free. click hereI know £13.99 is a little bit expensive for 50 but £13.99 for 100 seems like a bargain to me!Notice on the link they are selling a spindle of 25 for £14.99!Got mine this morning but the shelf edge made no mention of the offer. I had to check at the till first. I know it was certainly news to the store manager about the offer!
Works out at what i pay for my disks anyway, maybe still a tad dearer still.
Still more than i'm paying at the local computer fair at Tolworth and there printable as well.
Won't go the PC World but there are plenty of other suppliers selling for much less than that.
pj123 - I'm looking to replenish my blank DVD's and was going to pop down to my local PC World to buy them. Can you post links to where I can get them cheaper? Thanks
This could start an interseting thread. How much do you pay for 50, 16 speed DVD's and where do you get them from?I usually get mine from Play.com as I find the 'branded' ones like TDK and Verbatim are more reliable.I got some from Bigpockets once and the packaging was badly damaged in the post and found about 6 or 7 disks wouldn't work out of 50.I liked the convenience of getting them from PC world this time, but I agree they are usually quite pricey.
I get my blank DVDs from Woolworths (don't laugh).Worthit brand, pack of 50, 8 speed £11.89.click hereI've been using them for quite a while and they seem to be fine. They have a lifetime guarantee, but I suppose that depends on how long you live......
I use Lightscribe discs, they cost a fortune....I use bigmaggot.co.uk, I havent used them for normal discs but they are really cheap for LightscribeFast delivery too
