VAT Invoice / Receipts

I think that this may have been covered before, but i cannot find any reference in the forums.

Does an individual have to provide personal details ie name and address when requesting a VAT receipt / invoice.

I seen to remember that there was a limit (£100?) below which it was not required, but for higher amounts that it was a legal requirement.

Can anyone enlighten me?

sufficient detail to identify both the Seller and the Buyer.

I think that you are right about the Buyer's detail not being obligatory for under £100 gross.

I have now found the answer. Unfortunately I am unable to post a link due to the restrictions on the workplace PC's.

Resolved.
