I should also add that this is a 32mb Pendrive.

I'll stick to PC Advisor

Some will consider it good value for money "The USB Pendrive" & cancel the subcription at the 3 monthly point. Which effectively means paying just 0.03p I have to admit PCW is one publication that I don't particulary enjoy.

Is a very good mag (very different to PCA) and worth every penny.

Sir Radfordin - STOP IT, you'll start to get me exicited. I based my opinion on the magazine from several years ago. Has it improved since then!!

  Sir Radfordin 14:18 20 Mar 2004

I've been reading it since the latter part of 2000. Only started because it was more 'technical' and also the only computer mag in the Uni Journal section so didn't have to pay for it :)

I think it is aimed at a very different market to PCA (though I've not read that for a few years!). There are a lot of technical articles and some in-depth things that I never found in PCA. Less good if you want to buy a new PC.

I'm paying £18 a year for my subscription which I consider excellent value for money.

It is to be hoped that PCA will restore some of the technical content now that Tips and Tricks has been suspended. Recently it has become more of a showcase for manufacturers new products and has lacked indepth technical items.
