I bought a 2GB flashdrive from Staples, last weekend, for £11.99 and I am very pleased with it. They also had 1GB at £9.99

I bought one from 7dayshop as well. Kingston branded.

Forgot to add that it was Staples own brand.

Both SVP or Ebuyer offer a good service and have a wide range of USB flash drives available:

Depending on your budget I would suggest that the cheapest (or prettiest) is not always the best buy. We use Kingston drives at the office and they are much quicker at transferring files than my 1GB Viking, though it does the job well enough.

Have a look at the Cruzer titanium 2GB on Amazon - I got a couple the other week.

Thanks to everyone for their postings.

I have decided to order a wafer thin drive 2gb.

One of my offspring is an IT support consultant - he always recommends the Sandisk Cruzer models.
