If this is illegal then surely art showing naked people should also be banned.

It's irrelevant - he has been, and he is going to do so.

I imagine it took about half an hour of police time - hardly a budget-stretching matter

If this is illegal then surely art showing naked people should also be banned.

There's a difference - people go to art galleries to see art, it's a conscious choice. People walking in a street may not choose to see what's in a shop window.

To be honest, this is an event of little importance and no significance.
