I say old pc it is one i built two years ago approx but with games getting better and faster i need to do the same i want to get a Athlon 64 4200 Dual Core 2.2GHz processor but need to find a compatabile and reliable mother board that will take my bits on it eg AGP port ,IDE hard drive and DVD writer got a 450 psu problem is i only got about £80-100 left to spend.

Anyone recomend a decent model ?

Only advice I have is have a look about the websites and see whats on offer that meets your requirements and see if you find review of the motherboard here click here Personally I like ASUS but any well known make would do you. I am presumming you mean £80-100 for the board and not for the board and the CPU because thats not possible.

click here and look at some of their bundles, prices quite competitive, service is good and delivery prompt. Also click here& , my son buys from here for his business and says prices are very good, he has gone there for repeat orders and says very good value for money
