The Toshiba is on Amazon at £599 now...

Ooops, just checked and the price at Amazon has gone up? Also, just read your other post stating the new, even lower price, at Dixons....

I've gone for the Toshiba 32wlt66 for £569.99 at Dixons. I note that there is also a Toshiba 32wlt68. What is the difference between the two? There is about a £300 pround difference...are the differences really worth £300?

According to their site the "68" is HD ready.

They're both HD ready. The '68 has quite a few enhancements over the '66, higher refresh rate, better connectivity (more HDMI slots), advanced picture enhancement technology, etc, etc...

Is it worth £300 more? Find a shop that sells both and spend some time studying the picture....

We've had the '66 model for 2 - 3 months now and it's a great TV. Get too close and like any LCD the picture goes off but sit over 6 feet away and it's great. Six months ago this TV was winning awards all over the place, best buy, editors choice, etc.. It's a great TV but technology moves on quite quickly..
