This Panasonic seems to have the latest in technology, including text click here. Observations welcome.

Apart from the fact that Panasonic phones are first class they are also, according to my network savvy offspring, the brand that provides minimal or non-existent interference with wireless broadband.

I just bought a BT Domus in clearance for £24.00. Amazing little phone, excellent sound quality, long battery life, text and sim card reader.

I just got a BT Verve from Comet with text and answer machine for £35 and doesn't appear to cause problems to my wireless.

click here for the BT Verve or if it is the Panasonic that you want I'm sure I saw that one in Comet's for under £50

The one in Comet is £69.99 click here and it doesn't have text.

I wasn't actually stating that it would, only that if the question ever arose the Panasonic has a good record in this respect.

I've also got the Verve 450, best DECT phone I've had (and I've had a few). It doesn't have a colour screen but it does do text.

Very pleased with it. Can't wait for someone to ring me. Will have to get used to different caller melodies now.

We've had a Panasonic 3 handset DECT system for a couple of years. Sound quality is excellent, on the phones and the ansaphone. It doesn't seem to interfere with our wireless network, and the microwave doesn't interfere with the phones, as sometimes happens.
