Tesco internet phone package - pay and go

  VNAM75 16:15 05 Sep 2007

No monthly fee, just 2 pence per minute to UK landlines and popular international destinations. Appears to be cheaper than skype.

Has anyone used it and what is the quality like?

I use it - a lot.

I make frequent overseas calls and at 2p a minute to almost anywhere is definitely a consideration, especially when some of the people I speak to tend to be rather voluble.

I did get an echo on it at a previous software update but that seems to have been rectified on the latest one.

Remember it's free phoning to another Tesco Internet phone so if you have one or two people you speak to frequently, buy one and send it to them.

It all depends on what you want and the type of calls you make.
18185 click here or 1899 click here
give unlimited duration uk landine calls for a 5p connection fee - and there is no cut off time i.e you aren't switched to a per minute rate after an hour.
Calls to mobiles via 1885 are 6ppm during the week amd 3ppm at weekends. Calls to North America, landline or mobile, 0.5ppm
